The Group Executive

The Group Executive is the management committee of the group. They meet periodically to discuss and plan issues relevant to the group. As well as the sectional leaders, the executive consists of the following people who are elected at each AGM.

Jo Merrick
Group Scout Leader
Jo has been our GSL since June 2010. Before this she was our Beaver leader for a number of years. She is also a Bedfordshire Safeguarding Advisor.

Christa Jeffrey
Assistant Group Scout Leader
Christa has been our AGSL since June 2010. She has been involved with the group for many years in different capacities.

Mike Taylor
Chairman

Mike has been in his current capacity as chairman since 1981.  It is his role to control meetings, helping the group to make decisions as needed.

Paddy Higgens
Secretary

Paddy has been group secretary since October 2003. Before this, he was the Group Scout Leader for many years.

Paddy assists with both the beaver and scout sections.

Jen Coleman
Treasurer

Jen has been in control of the Group's accounts since 2005.

Ian Jeffrey
Quartermaster

As well as being an Assistant Scout Leader, Ian is the group's quartermaster. It is his role to maintain the premesis and equipment owned by the group.
