Group Executive

The group executive is the management committee of the group.  They meet periodically to discuss and plan all of the group’s issues.  As well as all of the leaders, the group exec is made up of the following people.

Terry Jones

Group Scout Leader

Terry has been involved with the group for many years as both Scout Leader and Group Scout Leader.  He has been in his current post since October 2003.

 

 

Mike Taylor

Chairman

Mike has been in his current capacity as chairman since 1981.  It is his role to control meetings, helping the group to make decisions as needed. 

Paddy Higgens

Secretary

Paddy has been the group’s secretary since October 2003.  Before then he was the Group Scout Leader for many years.

 

Paddy records meetings as well as helping out with the beavers and the scouts.

Jen Coleman

Treasurer

Jen has been in control of the groups accounts for the last two years. 

Ian Jeffrey

Quartermaster

As well as being assistant scout leader, Ian is the group’s quartermaster.  It is his job to maintain the premises and equipment owned by the group.

As well as those listed above, there are several parent members who advise the group exec.
